1) About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern access to the Thumb Royale festival, including our websites, registration desks, creator booths, and nightly Sprint-Cups. By purchasing a ticket, queuing for a ladder window, or participating in the broadcast, you agree to these terms.

2) Eligibility & conduct

• Participants must meet local venue rules and age requirements (often 16+, under 18 may require guardian approval).
• You agree to follow staff instructions and the Code of Play posted at the venue.
• We may refuse or remove entry for safety, repeated rule violations, tampering, or harassment.

3) Tickets & entries

• Tickets and entries are subject to availability and local capacity limits.
• Unless stated otherwise, tickets are non-refundable except where the event is cancelled or required by law.
• Re-sale may be restricted by venue and local regulation.

4) Devices & parity

Festival rigs use mirrored control profiles, locked loadouts, and on-site checks to minimise device advantage. BYOD may be allowed for daytime ladders if profiles match parity requirements. We reserve the right to disallow hardware or software that undermines fair play.

5) Fair play & officiating

• Refs may issue warnings, game losses, or disqualifications for stalling, coaching mid-round, or other violations.
• Disputes can be appealed at the officials’ booth between windows. Final on-site decisions may be binding for that event day.

6) Content & creator rights

By entering festival areas marked for recording, you acknowledge that you may appear in livestreams or recordings. Creator captures and interviews are opt-in and can be revoked per our Privacy Policy. We may provide clean feeds, overlays, and highlight lists; your use must respect venue rules and third-party rights.

7) Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Thumb Royale is not liable for indirect or incidental losses. We do not exclude liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or injury caused by unsafe setups — safety is a core principle and shared responsibility.

8) Event changes

Schedules, titles, stage layouts, and special guests may change due to weather, transport, or safety. We will communicate material changes promptly via posted notices and our website.

9) Governing law

Local consumer laws apply in the host country. Where a dispute cannot be resolved on site, parties may seek resolution under the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
